Job Overview:
Lyon Metal Roofing is seeking an organized and proactive Office Lead to manage office operations and support sales efforts at our Radford, VA location. This role involves overseeing administrative tasks while also handling sales inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring excellent customer service. The Office Lead will play a key role in managing day-to-day activities, supporting the sales team, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee office operations, including answering phones, managing emails, scheduling, and processing orders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing information on products and services, and recommending roofing solutions.
- Actively engage in sales by assisting customers in selecting the right roofing materials and products, preparing quotes, and closing sales.
- Coordinate with production and dispatch teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and on-time deliveries.
- Manage inventory records, track office supplies, and place orders as necessary.
- Prepare and process invoices, reports, and financial documentation.
- Train and support office staff, ensuring adherence to company standards and objectives.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a professional and organized office environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in office management, administrative roles, and sales.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with CRM or office management software is a plus.
- Sales experience, preferably in the construction or roofing industry, is highly desirable.
